Students in the upper grades at the school studied the scientific method of discovery in the first dedicated elementary science lab in the Crowley Independent School District. |
A two-year pilot program at Sidney Poynter Elementary School was established with one goal in mind — help increase Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills science test scores for fifth-grade students at what was one of the worst-performing schools in the district last year.
